I don't really venture into Wolverhampton a lot but this Desi pub has been on my radar for a while. They open and serve food at 4pm, which is quite late by most places' standards today. Pulled into their car park which had an adequate amount of spaces, took a little effort to find an open entrance which turned out to be up the side street. Upon entering, you notice that the decor is like a very dated pub in need of a refurb, but that's not something that I really cared about. I like a nostalgic feel now and then. Beer selection seemed adequate, I went for an ale. Service was really friendly and welcoming, from the bar staff to the waitress. It was fairly quiet when we walked in, but quickly started to get busy. I was here for a mixed grill and went for the full platter. It was the best Mixi I've had in the last 3 months, comfortably beating a few big name places from my beloved West Bromwich, which is hard for me to admit! Everything we ordered was superb and the prices were quite reasonable compared to other similar places. I thought the Wolves lads were hyping this place up because they don't have a lot of options over there, but I was wrong. This place is a hit!

We visited for food and drinks, and wasn't disappointed. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable and relaxed. The Food was outstanding, fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended, and will look forward to visiting again. The best desi pub around.

This is my go-to spot for a desi grill – the food is absolutely fantastic. It’s a traditional pub up front with a proper bar, pool table, projector, and TV screens, plus loads of seating if you’re just there for drinks. Towards the back, the pub vibe continues with a smaller section of the bar where you can grab food and drinks. There’s also a newer suite at the rear – sometimes it’s open when things get busy, or they use it for private functions. Off to the side, there’s a small walled beer garden. It’s not massive, but it does the job! Unfortunately the real fireplace which was situated by the entrance has been removed.

Excellent all round grill. Would recommend

No faults in anything. the staff were really nice, food was amazing especially with the fact you can ask for it “desi style” and the inside is very spacious! only recommendation is to make the sign on the restaurant/bar bigger and easier to find on the main road.

I had a fantastic meal at The Builders Arms in Wolverhampton. The mixed grill was excellent—great portion size, high-quality meat, and packed with flavor. The lamb curry was also delicious, rich, and well-spiced. While the service was a little slow, it was understandable given how busy it was on a Saturday evening. Overall, the food was top-notch, and I’ll definitely be returning for more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent Indian food!

Food was great, staff were friendly, will be visiting again

I have visted many different desi pubs across the UK this one takes the top spot for me. Great service, lovely food and fantastic well mannered staff. Yesterday was my first visit to this pub/restaurant with family after a last min call for a table and I can highly reccomend it as your go to place for 10/10 delicious food. We loved everything especially the Chilli Chips, Butter Chicken and Lamb Sharabi! 28th Sept - Visited again food is still banging!
